Privacy Policy

What data we collect
Account data: Email address and display name you provide during registration. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those services.
Usage data: Number of requests made, argument settings selected (tone, strategy, strength), timestamps.
History: Your generated arguments are stored on our servers so you can access them across devices. You can delete individual items or your entire history at any time.
User-generated content: Theses you enter, debate messages you exchange with other users, public share links you create.
Device data: Device type, operating system version, app version — collected automatically for crash reporting and analytics.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data, or any data unrelated to the app's functionality.
AI processing (third-party AI providers)
To generate arguments, we send the thesis you enter and your selected settings (tone, strategy, strength) to Anthropic, PBC (San Francisco, USA), which operates the Claude language model. Anthropic processes the input as a stateless API request and does not use your prompts to train its models under their commercial terms. We do not send your email, name, or any account identifier alongside the prompt.
For source-backed arguments, we additionally send the topic to Tavily (web search API). For non-production builds, requests may instead be routed through OpenRouter as a development fallback.

- To provide the service (generate arguments based on your requests)
- To enforce usage limits per subscription tier
- To save your argument history and preferences
- To improve the service (aggregate, anonymized usage statistics)
- To send push notifications (daily challenges) if you opt in
- To moderate user-generated content and respond to abuse reports

Data retention
Account data is retained until you delete your account. Argument history is retained for 5 years, or until you manually delete it. Usage counters reset daily. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Webhook audit records are retained for 90 days for billing reconciliation.
Data security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Database access is restricted to authorized services only.
Your rights and account deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account inside the app. Your account row, personal identifiers, history, profile photo, debates participation, and share links are removed or anonymized immediately. Some records are retained longer for legal and tax compliance: subscription / billing logs (up to 5 years per applicable tax law), webhook audit trail (up to 90 days), aggregated anonymous usage counters (indefinitely, no longer linked to you).
If you have already uninstalled the app and cannot reach in-app Settings, you can request deletion via our public account deletion page or by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Delete account" — we process such requests within 30 days.
Your GDPR Rights (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and its UK / Swiss equivalents grant you the following rights regarding personal data we process about you:
- Access (Art. 15): request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification (Art. 16): ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17): request deletion — handled in-app via Settings → Delete account, or via our public account deletion page.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18): ask us to suspend processing while we resolve a dispute about accuracy or legitimacy.
- Data portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, commonly-used, machine-readable format. To request, email [email protected] with subject "Data export"; we respond with a JSON dump of your account, history, and subscriptions within 30 days.
- Objection (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interests (e.g. analytics).
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. CNIL in France, BfDI in Germany, ICO in the UK).
Data Controller: Petukhov Dmitriy IE (registered in the Republic of Armenia, IE №20272733). Contact: [email protected]. We do not currently have an EU representative — communications addressed to the controller above are sufficient under GDPR Art. 27 for our processing volume.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect about you; (b) delete personal information; (c) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal data in the conventional sense, but personalized advertising via AdMob may be considered "sharing" under the CCPA. To opt out, on iOS choose "Ask App Not to Track" when the App Tracking Transparency prompt appears (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking can also revoke at any time); on Android, decline consent in the Google Mobile Ads consent dialog. To submit any other CCPA request, email [email protected].
Children
This app is not intended for children under 13 (United States) / under 16 (European Economic Area, in line with GDPR). We do not knowingly collect data from children below those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
